PubMed is a free-access searchable interface for the MEDLINE database, which provides access to citations from the biomedical literature dating back to the 1950s. There are currently over 16 million records in the database. MEDLINE collects from an array of over 5,000 journals published in the United States and internationally. Common uses of PubMed include investigating for therapies and prognosis and searching for clinical trial information.

FYI:
Look for the button,
when
using the WMC Library‘s
customized PubMed
- GET IT will appear when viewing search results as citation or abstract formats.
- GET IT will either connect you to the online article or connect you to the Library’s catalog, Tri-Cat, to see if we have a paper copy. If neither is available, it will allow you to submit an online interlibrary loan request for an article at no charge.
